Since the tolino software update 12.2.0 I have problems with the use of the “Onleihe”-Service. What can I do?

The first time you open a lended eBook from the tolino eReader, you will be asked to re-enter your login details. Please note that you enter the access data according to the library with or without zeros in front of your actual membership number (eg 1234 instead of 001234), as known from your registration in the Web.

With the renewed entry of your access data the new DRM (Digital Rights Management) system, which is part of the new tolino eReader software version 12.2.0, checks your tolino eReader and your account. If the check is successful, the re-entry is no longer necessary for future lending processes.

In individual cases, however, it may happen that the identification does not work or break off directly. In this case the message “DRM decryption error. Please retry downloading and opening media”  appears. Please cancel this process via the button “Cancel”. You will then be returned to your starting point (browser or tolino library) so that you can restart the process.
